In November, we again had the opportunity to assist Pennsylvania-based Bowstring Studios in their Milwaukee filming for an MPM Hero Award profile video. Each year MPN Heroes are nominated by patients and caregivers for their contributions in the field of MPN (myeloproliferative neoplasms).
Bowstring sent their own DP and director. Fresh Coast provided an AC, Sound Mixer and Hair/Makeup artist for the 1-day filming at Froedtert Hospital.

July 2018 - Nashville Ad Agency in Milwaukee to film Matt Flynn TV Spots

In July, Nashville-based Counterpoint Messaging came to us for crew and gear to film campaign TV spots for Milwaukee attorney Matt Flynn. Flynn had entered the Democratic Gubernatorial Primary race in hopes of getting the party’s nomination to run against Scott Walker.
This one very full day of filming included multiple locations in Glendale and downtown Milwaukee, culminating at the end of the day with a green screen studio shoot at Big Chair Studios in Waukesha. A big shout-out to all our great crew folks and equipment suppliers who made all this possible.

June 2018 - MIDTERM ELECTIONS AHEAD – Here we go!

The Midterm Election season is underway with numerous candidates vying for local, State, and national offices. Fresh Coast’s involvement began in late May with a call from Washington DC political ad agency Jamestown Associates. Jamestown’s candidate was Wisconsin State Senator Leah Vukmir who was running in the Republican U.S. Senate primary.
An intensive 1-day shoot was planned to get footage for several TV spots. Jamestown sent their director, producer, and DP. We ended up providing an AD, gaffer, two grips, AC, sound, prompter, hair/makeup and wardrobe. We also put together a custom 3-Ton grip and lighting package that included a Fisher Dolly and small jib.

Jamestown was able to get all the footage they needed and left town happy.
